Robyn Rihanna popularly known as Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian artist and performer who has released hit songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. Young and extremely accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of the most successful selling artists. Born in Barbados, she was able to love reggae and started singing when she was a young child. Due to the turmoil in her household and the arguments that her parents had with each other, she decided to take up music. Soon she decided she was going to become a performer. When she was in high-school, the girl formed a band and auditioned for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was impressed at her abilities. He suggested that she move from her home in New York in order to take on a full-time job as a singer which she readily accepted. Rihanna soon became an international star after her debut release. People of all ages loved the songs that were upbeat, and this led Rihanna to create movies. Today, she's a teenager model and a fashion icon. Rihanna is also active in donating to charities and making use of her celebrity status to benefit charities.
